MartinWood Resort originally served as headquarters for one of the largest hardwood operations in North America and housing for the office staff. In December, 1999, the building and the surrounding property on Benoir Lake were purchased, and MartinWood Resort was opened the following summer as a year-round facility.
Today, there are 18 guest rooms, restaurant, lounge, 18-hole golf course, lakefront cottages and an indoor pool.

In addition to great golf, spring / summer / fall activities including boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, canoeing, outdoor photography, ice fishing, snowmobiling, XC skiing, and much more.

MartinWood GC

Winding through the forests of SouthCentral Ontario and atop the rugged Canadian Shield, the MartinWood GC is a beautiful and challenging championship layout. Tree-lined fairways, wetland areas, rock outcroppings contribute, scenic vistas and modest elevation changes all contribute to the course's unique look and feel.

At just 6108 yards (par 72) from the tips, the course more than makes up for its comparatively short length by demanding accuracy off the tee and strategic play throughout. With five challenging par-5s and a varied collection of five par-3s, even accomplished players will be tested. The par-4s, while short, require an accurate tee game, good shot making and strategic play, but make the course manageable and enjoyable for players of all skills levels. The 451-yard, par-4 10th hole is a notable exception, demanding for even the best golfers.
